This is how l fixed mine bob on all 7 crossbows....l never have any problems decocking either.
I would assume its probably the return spring not springing.
Probably best to just do a delete and order a new one.
I would assume it might be covered under warranty

I’m confused. What is what, is it cocked, I cocked, etc. Is the lever on the back of the mount stuck?

Bob, the ADF latches are always down until you slide an arrow under them, or push in the plate on the rear of the mount. If you can slide in an arrow it sounds like it is working. I'm still not sure I understand what is stuck.

Okay, that’s a warranty claim. You can take it off and see if the spring is stuck, or something along those lines. I have not yet had to get into one so I’m not the best person for advice.
Good luck Bob.

I had an ADF that stuck all the time. Took it off and removed lever ( one screw I think) snd polished track slightly. It had a pretty good burr in it. Works great now, maybe worth a shot.

I would just remove the 4 screws and take a cotter pin tool n rip out the guts so you can still hunt. And get a new one after the season .
Who knows you might like being on the dark side for a while.
Good luck bob l hope you get a big one!!
