Got dropping temps, and a change in wind in my favor tonight, on through mid day tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty good about this spot tomorrow! Good Luck All!

Sat on a folding camp stool last Saturday for 7.5+ hours.....Was sore and stove up bad Sunday. Got to find a better seat that is still small enough to carry in.( and I saw ZERO! I wouldn't have been near as bad if I had at least seen something)

Between the morning and afternoon sit, I sat about the same amount of time last Saturday with the same result. It sucked.

I've only done an all day sit a handful of times, and my hang on is far from comfortable after a few hours. Every hour or so I stand up for a while to give the cheeks a rest. The thought of spending the night in my hang on stand has never even come close to crossing my mind. Now the API climber I had, I could catch some good sleep in that thing.

Just about everything I go sit a stand, a couple hrs into it. I got to stand. Not so much my butt/back. For me its my knees. I got to stand or figure a way to straighten then or my legs.

About 50 % of the time while standing, ill see a deer or some movement !

I have a new spot that has a wooden platform 22 feet up. There is no seat. The trees flare out so you can't even lean on one. Just kind of stand there until it gets dark or you can't take it anymore. I feel your pain!

Makes me appreciate my tripod stand with the Hunt Comfort seat and back rest I put on the 360 degree swivel seat. I go to that stand too much, but I've killed a lot of deer out of it.

On couple of places I use a couple of 18 foot 2 man ladder stands. The one man stand is just too small for my oversized self!! The first thing I do is put new cushions on them. That little piece of padding, (if you can call it that), just doesn't cut it!! I have actually modified a couple of portable "stadium seat" to fit. I have a Mossy Oak Game Winner cushion I can carry around. It's thick on the bottom and has a padded backrest too. Not great but beats the "factory" stuff all to heck!!
