Norm is right the action here has ground to a halt . I had lots of pictures before this week then it became night time pics . The two does that we have managed to get so far had white tarsals .

This morning about 30 minutes after sunrise, I has a doe come bounding through in a nearby thicket with a buck about 20 yards behind not letting her get out of his sight. They ran out of view before they stopped. I hit my grunt call and a different buck responded to the call and came right under my stand. He was a small buck so he got a pass. So there are at least a few deer showing interest around here.

Here in NW Indiana, the bucks are cruising looking for that first hot doe. Warm front is not helping though. It was around 40 F this morning, but warmed up fast. Kid saw two bigguns I saw one. Bunch of 2 year old & younger though.

Most action now is in the morning, afternoons are a waste of time.

Hunted this afternoon at 4:10 saw a forkhorn cruising a half hour later 2 coyotes came by but saw me just before I could shoot and bolted. 5:00 I saw 3 does and a 10 point following them. About 100yds away no shot but nice to see. Not much activity on the cameras.
