Micro's Getting it DONE!!!

Post by AJ01 »

Well it's been a pretty productive opening month here in East Texas. I managed to fill my second Doe/Antlerless tag yesterday afternoon with a nice fatty for the freezer!!
I now have 2 Buck tags left for the next 60 plus days of the season. I guess I'll see how that works out.

While I was hunting, my buddy Stuart was out giving his NEW 360TD a run in the woods. He's had the bow less than a week. Loves it!! He's hooked!!
This is his 1st Doe of the season also taken yesterday afternoon!!

I hope everyone is out enjoying the Great Outdoors!! I hope everyone is filling the freezer with fresh venison.
May ALL of you stay SAFE and HEALTHY!!!

From the 903!!

A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

That looks like a good hit! I'll bet the recovery was short. Enjoy the venison!

Yes Sir!! We took the Does early to fill up some freezer space. We try to grab them before it gets "hot and heavy" with the rut. Gotta make sausage you know!!

Yes. Both were double-lunged. A blind man could have followed those blood trails!! Neither went more than 40 yards.

Taking a friend of mine hunting next weekend. He lost his lease 2 years ago. I'm gonna put him in a stand and let him take one. Nice to have several places to hunt!!

The rut here hasn't started yet. I'm gonna stay off the main lease for about 2 weeks or until I see rut activity on a camera. Once that kicks off, I'll be in full time looking for a certain Buck I have on camera. I've got a big guy witha split G2 that has my name on him....hopefully!!!

I wish everyone a "fruitful" season! Be "Thankful" for what you have been given!! Bless others as you have been blessed!!
If ya ever sit in a tree stand and a deer, bear or whatever walks out and it don't get you blood pumping, you might wanna see if you're still breathing!!!

From the 903!!
