Holding arrows in backpak

Post by Ankh » Fri Oct 30, 2020 9:30 pm

Any ideas on a very compact/lightweight solution to holding arrows in my pack? I don't like to leave the quiver on my bow but dont like the room it takes up in the pack. Looking for something compact and light that would protect fletching. Thanks for any ideas.

I use the Excalibur quiver and put it in my backpack, I leave the fletching sticking out of the top of the pack, works great. You could get a hip quiver.

Look at the Black Eagle TALON quiver made by Conquest (owned by BE).

It features a TALON Grip that you can grip to your pack.

LIGHTEST ON THE MARKET...HOLDS 5 ARROWS..

I use a DrStirrup quiver that captures arrows on both ends. While is isn’t light, nothing protects your arrow like this and when you want them out, they come out easier than any other quiver. There’s nothing like it!

Another two ideas, if your pack has garment straps you could loop those around your quiver, or you can tie a small cord around your quiver and carry it over your shoulder.

This.
My pack has a bottle pouch on either sides. I slip the 3 arrow quiver in there. You could also attach one of the holders on your pack someplace.

I always take my quiver off of my bow and leave it on the ground when I climb into my stand. Cocking my crossbow is too difficult to do in the stand so I have to get down anyway if I need another arrow.

Easton Arrow Tube:

https://www.cabelas.ca/product/59741

Has an internal arrow divider / holder that works very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdN-2Wotvkk

Very light
Adjustable arrow / tube lengths
Can hold up to a dozen arrows (I usually go with six per tube) with either target or broadheads
Basically crushproof.
Can easily strap to the outside of your pack if so desired.

Buddy gave me one to try a few years back.
I now have three.

Cheers,
Nog

I took three old medium sized prescription bottles and super glued some EVA foam into them. Poke the broadhead into the foam and tuck the bottles into the side pocket of my backpack and away I go!

.....I love the DIY ideas....I however, have a camera where I would normally attach my quiver....I have both the DrStirrup quiver and the Badlands backpack....I utilize the rifle holder pocket and insert one end of the quiver into that pocket. I then strap the quiver onto the backpack with the cinch straps and I am good to go.
