What a great pic!!

Congratulations to the young man. And to grandpa for keeping up. A great way to take advantage of the warm weather.
Take care

This brings back memories of when I used to squirrel every year. I loved it and I love eating squirrels. Do you not have any fox squirrels where you hunt? We have both but the fox squirrels seem to be getting scarcer. Good for you for teaching your grandson a valuable skill.

yes we have some fox squirrels, seems like they are not close to houses tho. these came from around the house in the woods. Grandma says not to shoot her yard squirrels as she likes to watch them. So we walk into the woods a ways .

They're the best way to start out a new hunter as far as I'm concerned. You can learn a whole lot about hunting by chasing bushytails. I still recall my first squirrel hunt, so these memories will last forever. Awesome stuff.

That is awesome. Hope to start making some huntin memories with my 4 y/o grandson. He wants to go we just can't seem to get his mommy's schedule coordinated with mine.
Also hoping to get my own hunting property to take him on also.
