Looking at buying an older vixen with carved tip limbs. Question is if those limbs are easily replaced or upgradeable to msgtip limbs ?

Why not just buy a newer vixen 2.
I purchased one locally last week on Craigslist for 300 bucks it is like new ...the guy even threw in a speed bag target wit 24 holes in it. Thats how many times it was shot.
After hunting season or in the summer excalibur bows are a steal on Craigslist.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

I'm loving my "new" vortex this year lots of power and smooth.
I like it way better then my matrix 330...its newer version.
Went thru every deer with the swat
