I finished NY crossbow hunting yesterday and noticed my string was slightly frayed on my Ibex. I have two extra strings,
one was ordered from Excalibur when I ordered some arrows and hunting arrow heads, the other was sent to me by
Danny Miller when I had to return my scope for a replacement. One string is numbered 2096 the other is numbered
1994. Will both strings work with my Ibex? I know that Danny Miller knew my crossbow was an Ibex, I am not sure if
Excalibur knew which crossbow I was ordering a replacement string for. I am also interested in a Flemish string.
Thanks,
Silver Bear

Re: Ibex Crossbow Replacement String
The #1994 Excel string is what I use on my Ibex.
I believe the # 2096 is the Excalibur stringer number.

Re: Ibex Crossbow Replacement String
1994 is the original Dacron String, it has served loops.
1989 is a Flemish String with braided loops, it is made with high performance materials, and will make your bow about 15 FPS faster.
