Ghosblind set up

Here is an example of an excellent spot to set up a ghosblind.
I would clear away the brush and put the big log at my back .
The big log is not the most probable travel direction for the deer in this spot but it will offer cover at my back and a good shooting rest for a shot.
I shot a nice buck from this spot a few years back.l don't use it anymore simply because l have hung a treestand here now.

This little "island" is another good spot to clear out and hide in because the deer are used to walking around the dead falls and are not expecting a hunter to be in the little island in a ghosblind.
Using these little extra advantages can really make the ghosblind work even better for you.
