noisy Axiom

Post by Cardinalsfanforever »

I was shooting my Axiom today after shooting the micro and realized it is really noisy. Big "TWANG" as compared to my other two crossbows. have the S5's on it and was wandering about the limb silencers. Are the DB killer's as good as the video says?

Every one of my exo bows is quieter than a micro. Thats odd. I have the dr stirrup bumpers on them and bow jax slip on limb silencers very very quiet.
Catwhiskers usually quiet a exo bow pretty good.
Dan made me a string with built in silencers in it for my vortex but I cheated and put it on my vixen l love it.

Check and make sure all of your fasteners are tight and not moving. In my experience with my buddies axiom, it was always quieter due to the SMF mainframe.

Might be the arrow retainer. Do not try to bend it installed on the trigger, you will bend it too much. Don’t ask me how I know. :eusa-whistle:
