Excalibur gear

Post by NEPAbowhunter »

So I went to order an Excalibur stool and rug today from the website. Started to to pay for them and seen $78.00 for the shipping cost  Come on guys! The only choice of shipping is USPS priority? The shipping cost more than the stool.

If your order originates out of Canada, you will pay all kinds of fees!! That's why your shipping is so high!!

Folks, crossing the border (either way) is a costly thing. We Canadians are just a lot more accustomed to it, that's all. As a matter of fact, we Canadians are so accustomed to it that we've made it worthwhile for some enterprising Americans to make a buck. There are tons of "Border Services" on the USA side of the border who act as agents to receive product for Canadian customers. The Canadians pay something like $10.00 per item to qualify for free shipping to a USA address. Then the Canadian drives across the border to pick up his shipments at the depot.

In the days of the "wild west" the bandits used to rob the stage coach. Now they OWN the stage coach. They can rob the stage without getting all sweaty and dusty out on the trail. That's a smart business model, isn't it?
