Today was our pa gun season our zone is shotgun .l was gonna bring my 10 guage buckshot slinger then last minute left it in the garage and picked up the vortex..
My brother said he would do a real..real slow push along my river funnel l have been hunting all season for me and l didn't have a problem with that.
Lots of gunshots around our property we hunt.
He kicked out multiple deer many doe n spike bucks and the last hundred yards this big boy pops out 60 yards...now lm wishing the shotgun in the garage lol.
But as luck would have it he came my way offering a 10 yard straight downer ...the vortex and swat made a 25 yard dead deer.
I have 40 days in this spot without getting a buck ...l knew he was there and l thank my brother for the little push it took

Love that wide rack. Congrats! They're moving a lot here, but with no leaves they seem to be keeping their distance from anywhere a hunter would venture except after dark.
