HHA optimizer maintaince ?

Post by Wyoming1 »

I recently put one of these on my 335.It works pretty good compared to guessing at in between yards. I was wondering about lubrication for the moving parts.I don't know what's in there, rubber, neoprene or what .I wouldn't think its steel on steel.

I've never done anything to any of mine. Try contacting the manufacturer and ask their suggestion.

Agree with Paul cant hurt to check with mfr. . I oil everything lol. I love my minature needle oiler ...if it was mine l probably couldn't resist oiling it. I over oil all my guns its a sickness...l act like I'm assembling a rebuild motor...
I was wondering did you find the scope to be high on the optimizer or are you using a taller cheek piece.
I always say I'm gonna get one and then chicken out.

As far as using a gun oil, I use one product line

Lucas gun oil (heavy duty)

Lucas gun lubricant
