Don if there’s a BooFest this year will you have your bow by then so we can all shoot it
I won't be surprised if he does. More than likely he probably got to "test" the pro-type.

This guy did a pretty good review of the new Twinstrike if you want to see it in action:

Peter, I can’t see or find info on whether you an use the Twinstrike as a single shot bow?
Do both bolts need to be nocked?

Yes it can be used as a single shot. Same functionality as having both loaded and then taking one shot and waiting to take the second shot. That's no different than just cocking and shooting one from the get-go like a single shot.
Thanks! I meant literally does the 2nd bolt need to be loaded to fire the first? I understand you can shoot one at a time with both loaded.

You guys are off your rockers! The trigger unit is actually simple especially if you compare it to some other trigger units. In no way are the limbs, the mainframe or the riser considered complex. This complexity of this bow is a fraction of that of the Assassin.
After watching the review at: https://youtu.be/Oq95apo19MA
It doesn't seem to be that complicated. Besides having twin "rails" and dual triggers, and the limbs being a departure from the ones on previous Excalibur crossbows it looks rather simple.

The limbs actually remind me of the ones on the "knock-off" Middleton crossbows. Who knows maybe they will solve the previous limb issues, or like the Middletons go the way of the Dodo bird. So before we "knock it" let's wait and see.

BTW: Just for "giggles", both arrows can be loosed at the same time.

Someone who has personally handled and shot one can probably answer, but everything I've seen on it mechanically and in function tells me that the literal answer to your question is no, the 2nd arrow does not need to be loaded to fire the first. The 2 rails and triggers do not "cross talk", per say.

Yes but why haven’t any of the first reviewers mentioned that you can cock, load and fire just one bolt at a time like a normal X-bow? Seems to me that would be a selling point...your choice to load one or two...kinda like having a plug in your duck gun so you can hunt with it.

I emailed Dave at Wyvern Creations and he confirmed my question about using the Twinstrike as a single shot bow...no problemo. I trust his answer 100%
To me that just adds another dimension to the new bow.

I'm just thinking people who complain about the fact the twin crossbow is not required. Why every hunter are going to hunt with a quiver full of arrows instead of one arrow?

I wish they would have changed up the patterns on their models and maybe added a "newer" 30" 325-335 fps micro however I realize that the micro mag 340 fits that bill and seeing as the year was a wash.I can't complain,I find It amusing listening to the cry babies insulting Excalibur for building the twin strike, I don't think It is something I need but good for them and I hope they sell a boat load of them. I actually started a facebook account just so I can stay in touch with the archery companies as most have left forums because of the trolls and wow, even more "dolts" on their with zero knowledge and zero reason to ever have a crossbow in their hands, scary. I found 90% of issues with any bow, crossbow, compound, recurve that I dealt with was human error, blaming the product. It is never anybody's fault........Just think of the warranty issues Dawn puts through for these people, free.
Libtards make me sick, and I don't take orders from a forum rat who needs to go to a safe place. Get used to Conservative Right wing hard working Canadians telling you liberals to F off!!!!!
