I always liked the the safety location on the original relayer. Where its located on the twinstrike is an definitely an improvement

I agree that the stock looks comfortable and I really like the new safety. But I was really hoping that their next all new stock would include adjustable LOP and adjustable cheek weld height.

Don, I've never made it to BooFest, and before I die, I hope to be able to do so. I understand that although everybody has a great time there, it is a bit more restrained??

It is a family event so there's no stupid drinking. I am open to any activities as long as its, for lack of better terms, wholesome. So the 3 main activities people want is shooting their crossbows, hanging out and talking and of course the obligatory camp fire!

Yes, Everyone can have their opinion about archery hunting, except, apparently, me.?janesy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 5:24 pmI think you are reading too much into it. On a personal note. Archery hunting is all about the challenge of getting close to a target to make that one shot count. I think this goes against everything that archery hunting stands for.
BTW, if your hunting for deer and it is not about getting a close shot, well that is called GUN HUNTING. PS: The reason I use bolt action rifles is because I believe its about making that one clean shot. My dad always made a point for me to understand that hunting is more than just killing something and that it is my responsibility to make sure the animal(s) that I hunt suffer as little as possible. The people that lob multiple shots at a deer just because they can are the type of "hunter" that I personally can not stand and that is what I see happening with this bow. I truly hope I am wrong, but my faith in humanity and hunter ethics seems to be decreasing every year.
My opinion, and yes it probably smells.

You forgot to bold the line where I said, "It may go against everything YOU stand for"
So, Yes, you are very much allowed your own opinion, which I stated. But it doesn't speak for the entire sport, or anyone else for that matter.
You can twist my words to suit your agenda any way you like.To each their own, I'm not interested in a selective argument. It's a shame you've developed such a shallow outlook, I hope that changes for you soon. Life is too short to make in lonely too.

How much more clear could I be that it was my personal thoughts, not a blanket statement. Following the second line with I think, again my personal thoughts.
So next time you selectively twist statements, do not be be so shocked when they are returned in kind.

That's a valid point. To be honest I took your post as negative, as that's been the narrative lately.Sparkey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:55 pmNo word twisting, You called me out for making a blanket statement.janesy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:39 pmSparkey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:25 pm

Re: Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow
2020 was a unique hunting year for me for a couple reasons. Prior to 2020 I can't think of any situation with crossbow where I would have needed a 2nd shot. But this year it happened 3 times. So I've been thinking quite a bit about the Twinstrike since they introduced it. And me thinking I might end up with one some day has NOTHING to do with not wanting to make the first shot count. It actually has me thinking more about how important that first shot is. But has also opened my eyes to the opportunities that can be had by having a 2nd shot ready, or a different broadhead loaded for a different than planned shot, or planning for a 2nd potential deer kill soon after the first, etc. And I will say I'd much rather have 2 330fps shots ready to go than 1 500fps shot.

And if it is your first time, be prepared to take home a 300lb tree stump home in your trailer! LOLBoo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:10 pmIt is a family event so there's no stupid drinking. I didn’t read through all the comments so I may be parroting others, but in my opinion, the R&D time would be much better spent trying to develop a limb that’s not susceptible to breakage rather than building a two shot crossbow.
This seems like they’re trying to find a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
