Now I was told the opposite. The definition of a crossbow of the state law is a single arrow with a broadhead min of 7/8", a trigger and arrow with a minimum length of 14".

I looked up MN, WI, and PA state laws and legislation and saw nothing about a single arrow. Each pull of the trigger fires one arrow.

That's why I called. It's no longer printed in the regulations each year but as for the law, the state does have the definition which I posted.

In Ohio it’s also says arrow you have to actually dig into the Ohio Revised Code to see that and I also checked with a friend at ODNR that said the same (one arrow). By talking to them I would imagine that will be addressed this year along with other restrictions. Ohio actually has some of the least restrictions on all hunting devices so I hope they don’t change much.
I just wonder when one of these manufacturers will come up with a bow that field dresses your deer and gets it to my truck.

Appears to be legal in Texas. No bolt/arrow length restrictions. No draw weight restriction. There are several counties in Texas that DO NOT ALLOW crossbows during regular archery season. Crossbows can be used in those counties during "gun season". Caveat to this is...Those counties have no firearms season. They are Collin, Dallas, Rockwall and Grayson.
In all other counties crossbows are legal means of "harvesting" a deer during "Archery Season".
Go figure...we hunt hogs from helicopters!!!

Side note for those interested....
Grayson County produces some really good deer each year.

Any good lawyer will tell you that It's all in the wording.

If it says loaded with an arrow. The twinstrike is legal.

If it says not more than one arrow. Its not legal.

Since no other crossbow has been mass produced to load 2 arrows I doubt a law would have been written to ban a non existent crossbow... just saying!!!

If a person carried two loaded crossbows into a hunting blind, I don't think there's a rule against that in Wisconsin. I really don't see Wisconsin enforcing or dealing with this issue, but I've been wrong before. DNR is pretty unpredictable.

According to what is out there on the innertube this is NOT legal in the State of New York.
But then again, in New York, common sense is illegal.

That's correct, but that is because of the greater than 200lb draw weight, just like all of the micros.
