Some body better invent a target that you can't blow through with that one.

And to think we used to kill deer with a recurve, with a 46 lb. draw weight
did not know what fps was, did not have a scope on it,
levals, releases, or sights, :problem:
how in the he## did we ever kill anything. :eusa-popcorn:
and it cost about $30.00 to $50.00 dollars.

But wait...it gets even better.
What about our Native American friends and family, that made their own bows and arrows and knapped flint to make points? They managed to kill whatever they needed to survive!! Field craft makes a world of difference.

I just don't need that much speed, nor will I pay that much for a bow.

There used to be a certain charm associated with archery equipment. Bowhunters had to get much closer to their quarry and were generally considered to be good woodsmen and good hunters. Equipment like this new Ravin does to bowhunting what steroids did to baseball. The charm goes away.

The primitive weapons status of crossbows may be in danger because of developments like this.

I am not that impressed by a crossbow that can shoot 500 fps. I'm impressed by the guy that takes a deer with a longbow, because that takes practice & skill.

If a broadhead passes through the vitals @ 500 fps, is the deer more dead than a broadhead passing completely through at 250 fps?

If someone misses their first shot with an expensive Ravin, will they regret not buying the Twinstrike instead?

So will mine but it is fun to shoot them with my Ravin. My 350 LE never made it to the woods in 2020.

You're only as old as you think you are ;), at least until your body says otherwise. My SCI has me feeling like I'm aging at an accelerated rate as of late though.
