Post by dynamo61 »

Hello all.
Proud owner of a new Twinstrike!
Took two shots at Local Dealer in Windsor, ON, my home town and loved it so bought it.
Scope is mounted, TruGlo Titanium 4-blade Mechanicals are loaded now I wait for the rain/snow to slow down a bit.
Cheers,

Welcome dynamo61 !!
It's a good forum community here without the drama found at CN.

Did you see Carl at Carl's Archery? Real good guy.

I'm local in Windsor and would not mind introducing myself at some time.

Thanks all for the welcome, appreciate it!

Normous, yes I got it from Carl.
Hang out there often to shoot the breeze and get supplies on my way home from work.
His wife went to same high school and I used to hang out with her youngest brother.

BTW, I am a member at Windsor Sportsmen and have been shooting on the trap range when the trap shooters are not there.
Have shot to 120 yards for giggles.
There is a 35 yard area where I shoot when the trap shooters are there.
I am trying to get another lane cleared for xbows but they do not have a tractor strong enough to cut the 2-3 foot high growth but we will figure something out.
They have 4 targets that are 3 x 3 x 16" deep and do not use them so thinking about putting on frames on wheels that we can leave out and move for mowing.

You are more than welcome to come on out there if you like.
I bring my own targets, a SpyderWeb NO SPEED LIMT and Morrell Double-Duty 450 fps for field points.
Also, a Morrell High Roller 21 for broadheads.
Just got some TruGlo Titanium 4-blade mechanicals I am itching to try out.
There are 3D targets as well, but we cannot shoot them with xbows at this time as they are not made for high speed.

Let me know.

Also, tried to upload some pics of the TwinStrike but will have to crop them as the file size is too large.
Soon enough.

Cheers,
dyno.
