Phoenix / Leupold

My new Phoenix... shoots like a dream!! Very quiet and plenty fast.

Just a FYI on the Leupold... it's a VX Freedom 1.5-4x20. The Pig Plex is awesome for the speed of this bow,,, I'm guessing around 285-290 fps with a 428 grain arrow. I set the center circle at 20 yards on 3 power... then the next crossbar is dead on at 25 yards and the last crossbar is dead on at 30... that's just about perfect for hunting!!

My Phoenix I run a Hawke XB1 SR crossbow scope. Lines up to 100 yard on the tens. Have two other same scopes for my 115/90 lb Excalibur that I switch front end and scope to change poundage and they both line up on the fives out to 60 yards. They just work so well for the shooting I do. Sold a lot of crossbows but always kept the three Scopes with me. :) Had a friend of this forum sell me all three scopes. :)

Just a side note... the 125 grain three blade Muzzy’s are flying like darts out to 30 yards. I think this will be my opening day set up for August 15th. I need to get a salt lick and some corn out... that will be here in hot minute!!
