Ravin jack plate

Post by rmb721 »

Does a Ravin jackplate fit on a Excalibur ADF scope mount? I think I saw that they were too wide to clamp tight.

Thanks for any replies.

Yes, you'd have to beat in on or something. The Raven Jackplate won't even start. The Jackplate uses picatinny dimensions and Excalibur is Weaver from the stone ages.

Thank you Boo.

I thought it might be the other way around, with the jackplate being too wide.

Will a HHA Optimizer fit?

One more question.

With the HHA, do you need the side extension kit to clear the stock?

Thanks again Boo.

I have a set of scope rings that would not lock down tight on one of my Excaliburs. I cut a couple of small rubber shims and loosened the screw and slid them between the ring bases and the edge of the scope mount. Tightened then down and they have not moved since and it has been several years since I did that.
