Stringer rope

Post by canoe13 »

Today before shooting I went to adjust my brace height when bam my Excal. stringer cord snapped. Not the cocking rope but the stringer cord. No damage done. But I am asking what would be good replacement cordage.
Is Amsteel too slippery ? What size to get?
Thanks for the help.

I use amsteel on a couple of bows. Transfers colour after a while but other wise it works great

Same here, I think I got 1/8” diameter for that.
