If you go out and try to prepare , restrap and trim 6 different stand sites in one day and you didn't get an injury ....You didn't do it correctly.
I'm hunting a spot on a highway jughandle and got to kind of repel down a chunk rock embankment and last years rope broke. .
ALL GOOD, the buck l saw down there spotlighting is worth a few more injuries as far as I'm concerned 😟
Also got a few stickers to pick out of my body parts but good news is didn't find a tick on me knowwears the permethrin did its job.
Good luck guys honestly l love this preparation as much as the hunt itself!

Joe....I hate to say this.... but....Ya ain't as young as you use to be!!! :eusa-snooty:

Man...That looks painful!!! I hope you get better real soon. I know how it is. About 3 years ago a fell moving a 18 foot ladder stand. Strap broke about halfway up. Took me 6 months to get my knees back to working properly. :eusa-doh:
Put some ice on that, and take it easy a few days.

And like Norm said, watch those dang squirrels!! Nothing but bushy-tailed rats if you ask me!! :eusa-think:
They are the reason God invented Gammo Air Rifles!!!

Be Careful out there!!

Joe first Latin dance music, now this. You Sir live a life of danger. Hoping you heal up quick and get after that buck. If you get him will you have to pull him up that bank?
Take care

To all hunters, use a safety vest and 30' lifeline. A fall is more costly than the vest and line.

It's the next day and I'm ok still swollen but pain level is ok going motorcycle riding with my brother and it's my "shift foot" that will be the test it's a nice shade of purple.
Yes Hatchett if a buck is harvested down the embankment he's gotta come up that way a big rope on the bumper of the truck and he comes right up .l got a few out of there already.
2 men with hard hats n yellow vests in a white work truck ...no one bothers or bats an eye .
I got a nice new 3/4 repelling rope in The garage so it doesn't happen again.

Cripes man go easy! Don't bounce back like the year before.

I've been on the mend for 6 weeks for wearing the wrong pair of boots! I didn't even make it to 40 before this one caught up to me.
