If you buy extra limbs take the limbs from the 440. They give you 20fps more speed and should be bulletproof on the BD330. The only thing you have to replace are the tubes/spacer (don't know it in english), they are a little bit longer from the BD440
I have a BD330 with these limbs and my Bulldog brings a 411grain arrow to 328fps.
Very nice, thanks for the information.

I remember asking my local Excalibur dealer about the BD330. He never heard of it and called Excslibur to order one. Excalibur had no record of making this bow. Now that's a rare bow!!! Lol
Was that when they first come out?

I would of thought it was a top seller for them? But maybe the Take downs rule the roost now. or the micros.
I still like that 400 suppressor, I wonder how hard it is to hand cock that thing? Just once before a hunt.

OR.... turn the 360 in to a 380 with the 400 limbs and put it on a sweet wood stock, its only money right...LOL. oh and one of the good triggers .
That might be a good project for me down the road.

This sound like a sweet bow to you guys? Sounds simple enough, input appreciated.

See what happens when I get on here.

Not possible for the average person would be my guess. At least not without immediate injury. Maybe if your a heavy weight lifter and you've got a crazy deadlift technique.

I won’t be trying that then.

I am on several crossbow forums and ths BD 330 is one of the most sought after Excsliburs.

Seems odd they only produced a limited number.

If they are looking to increase sales/profits the obvious bow to build would be the BD 330... :)

I've personally never liked any of the BD platform bows. Too much travel in the trigger linkage.

I think the problem was limited sales. Up here there were tons of them laying around on shelves. The big push was the 400 and then the assassin, and the little slow bow got swept under the rug.

For the 30 minutes I owned my BD330, it was clear it was a winner. But then it got chopped up and it was even better.

I agree when I was looking for my first excalibur I went on different forums and it was highly recommended across all the forums I looked at.

I love the Matrix 355. Plenty enough speed and easy on servings and limbs!

I built a BD300 and had the trigger moved ahead an extra 2". The custom linkage and trigger lever greatly reduced the slack feeling. Combine that with an ACP trigger and it is a sweet shooter. My next step is to try a Triggertech trigger which is on the way.
Take care
