Vortex complete!

Post by xcaliber »

Got the Vortex done, just have to sight her in. Yes I'm going to stick with the Shadow Zone scope for now. Probably won't hunt with this one this year.

Same bow my wife started hunting with back in the day. The Vprtex was easy for her to cock and shoot really confidently with, and had a two stage TT like yours 8)

I'm looking at maybe the 5th! I cannot hunt hot days without the Kid, and that day will give me time. The wind looks good too! Good Luck Joe!

That is a great model and I like the way you have it set up, nice options !
I am not much of a blind hunter so the long limb bows where not often an issue.
My Equinox served me well for over a decade.
Good luck hunting with the new Vortex you will love it .

I know that by today's standards 330 fps is slow but l shot a buck and 3 doe with the vortex last year and most shots were lungs forward and the big 4 blade swat blew thru the front boney area too.
Kinda reinforced my belief that 330 fps is plenty

With a heavy Flemish string and 490 grain arrows I’m getting 299 FPS, plenty of smack for whitetail deer!
