TWO WEEKS OF CB SEASON COMING UP IN NYS

Post by amythntr »

….all in all we have been pleased with the activity we are getting up at our new property in Roscoe….Christopher shot a big bodied 6 pointer a couple of weeks ago with his compound….

…..w NYS’ archaic lows the CB is not allowed to be used until the last 2 weeks of the bow season which will begin next Saturday…hoping to have some favorable activity next week….

…..we are planning to have 5 of us in the woods for the rifle season which begins in 3 weeks

….. we have been told by the locals that the back part of our 137 acre land is loaded w nice sized bucks…of course we don’t have any cameras up in that area….we shall see!

Good luck. Our firearm season began yesterday. Cold weather supposedly Thurs.-Sat. That should make things more interesting.
Take care

What keeps the big bucks from coming to the front part of your 137 acres?

....a lot of open areas possibly...the back of the property has a lot of nooks and crannies, ridges and valleys and is just a tad more difficult to traverse!
