Shotgun season

Post by Boo »

In my area WMU 72a, we have shotgun season for 2 weeks starting today. I haven't had the urge to use a firearm for the last 3 years but I think I might because this guy has been seen 2 days in a row at the back of my back 10 acres. I saw him the next day at 80 yards. Close enough for my Savage 220!

If he’s inside of 200 yards, you guys will get pictures. I killed a cow elk at 180 a couple of years ago with this slug gun and Winchester loads with Partitions. This is the second year this and his twin have taunted me!

I've found Remington 2-3/4" AccuTip (surprisingly NOT the 3") to be the most accurate in my Savage 220.

Good luck out there. Get that buck!
