It's on here in SE WI. Bucks running with there noses to the ground. I just put up a ladder stand with my brother where I saw 2 bucks cruising yesterday.
I hope to see them in the morning. I'm going to put out my doe decoy also.

Day before yesterday sat from noon till dark,,lowered my bow and started to climb down, and then all of a sudden I could hear grunting coming closer and closer,,I froze,,they were real close now maybe 15 20 yards away, could not see them at all!
This afternoon,nothing! But it's happening!

It's on where we are hunting in Southern Ontario. Bucks are chasing does hard as of yesterday.. :)

When we went into the orchard this afternoon I found a couple fresh scrapes. All the apples are gone though. Looks like it's about to get interesting.
Good luck everyone

On November the 8th, we actually saw the 1st buck trailing a Doe. Activity has ben SUPER SLOW around here in East Texas.
I'm hoping with cooler temps in the forecast for this weekend, we see things pick up. I've managed to shoot one Doe so far, by now I have usually used al of my Doe tags.
All our pictures, okay, at least 95%, have been of night time activity. Then starting Sunday, that changed. Now we are having pics all hours of the day.
I'll probably be in a stand somewhere Friday morning. Supposed to 35 degrees!!

No real rut action yet here.scrapes rubs etc. But no chasing, buck activity actually dropped last few days probably because of this 70 degree warm spell.
