I get a lot of people dumping their garbage on the property I hunt on.
Too lazy to go to the dump.

If your area is like mine Joe, the bucks are going nuts here. It was a bit warm today, but I jumped two bucks on the way to my stand and had a third one ran up on me before I got my gun pulled up. I ended up seeing four bucks total in the 90 minutes I had in the stand. The last hour here is just golden this week. I'm still waiting for something of substance to appear and so far they've been content to stay in the thickets until after dark.

Joe,
Have you noticed that the deer change patterns when the time changes in these places? I think they do....not necessarily that they do, but since we (humans) don't really change our activity based on the sun, the deer stay put until our activity calms down.....so they move later.

Like............a guy comes home from work and uses the leaf blower until 5PM or so, then goes in for dinner. When the sun goes down at 6PM, I see plenty of deer around 5:30PM. But now with the time change....I don't see as many deer at like 4:30PM as the guy is still out there until 5PMish, which is now sunset.

I was thinking of pretending it was a huge black bear ,maby l should have shot it the thing would be easy to drag out also.
Keith l like it when the duck hunters are out I'm on private property basically have 2000 acres to myself and my brother but the duck hunters are good in my opinion at keeping the deer moving ,the river is free for anyone to hunt as long as they stay on the water.
But weekends are the best.
I'm not seeing very much rut activity yet and the highways are not littered with deer so I'm thinking the first cold snap is gonna be real good.
