Whenever I hear someone say”I don’t want my kid even touching a gun”, or something like that, it makes me cringe.

That’s when I have to reply “it might be better to have your kid take a firearm safety course. He’ll eventually come into contact with guns. It might be other kids or dumb adults. Wouldn’t it be nice for him to know he should get the heck away from what fools are doing?”

I agree 100%
I feel everyone should take a hunter safety course ever if they do not wish to hunt or own a firearm , Ignorance is dangerous and everyone will end up near a gun at some point in their life .
Hunt eat sleep repeat.

Absolutely!
A kid I grew up with had a sleepover with three friends. He brought a.22 rifle into his basement and said he couldn’t cock it, I asked him if it was loaded, he didn’t know. He could have shot one of us. I took the gun and aimedit to the ground in his yard and squeezed off a shot, then went.22 rifle 101! I told him not to mess with stuff he didn’t understand!
