Christmas Deer

Post by XB I GO »

We dropped off food for the staff at the ICU in the hospital. One lady asked for some deer meat. Right after dinner my brother and I went out for the last 40 minutes of light. We saw a big buck but we weren’t sure if it was bigger than what we already took, and after all we were meat hunting. A few minutes later a mature doe came in. It was on my side so my brother gave me thumbs up. My vertical bow with Sonic broadhead worked great.

Congrats on the doe! Sharing venison is a great way to extend our hunting seasons and harvesting a few extra doe is a good thing in many areas. Nice shot placement.
