Happy New Year Eve

Post by xcaliber »

I want to party like it’s 1999. Really! Not kidding!
Be safe all, especially those that partake in the buffoons playground!

New year eve is bitter sweet. Its the end of archery deer season!

But it's time to ice fish and hunt for coyotes and Jack rabbits! :D

I just had my worst archery season in a very long time. Got skunked with the bow and was banned from my best hunting spot. Ugggg!

I have decided not to dwell on it. I will search dor a new property hopefully closer to home and I am already thinking about spring bear hunting! :)

Cheers and a happy new year to all!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Jeff, there are 3 days left here, and I have three tags. As much as I want to get out, I think I'll pass. I have had enough close calls to date this year. My youngest one called me and called me Seven at the end of our conversation. I said what? She says I have burned seven of my nine lives already by her watch.

Well....so ends 2021!
It was a fairly decent year. Okay...maybe not!! :wtf:  However... I think everyone saw some type of change in thier "normal" lives. Some good. Some bad. :D

I hope that 2022 brings you peace, hope, faith, joy and love!!

What will 2022 bring...

Perhaps 2022 will be the year you get that shot at the "once in a lifetime" Buck. Or maybe it's that dream hunt ya been planning finally gets booked.
Perhaps it's the arrival of a new child in your life. Be it a new son or daughter of your on, or a new grandchild to spoil!!
Perhaps it's the year that allows you to "retire". But I'll warn you, I work harder now than I ever did when I was employeed "full-time"!!

Whatever 2022 brings us, each moment of it is a blessing. One more minute we get to spend with family and friends.
So...my fellow stick chunkers... Love like there is no tomorrow. Be thankful for all you have. Be helpful to those who are truly in need.
Be a good steward of all you have been given!!

And as Dan would say....."Partying like it's 1999"!!!

Happy New Year Y'all!!
AJ

Totally agree with the picture. With everyone having COVID and an auto accident back in August that kept me from hunting this season I’m more than happy to see 21 over with.
Happy New Year to all and I hope everyone has a safe and healthy 2022.
