GAOS 2022: Anyone going?

Post by DuckHunt »

The Great American Outdoor Show starts this weekend in Harrisburg, PA. I notice that Excalibur isn't on the exhibitors list this year. I'm guessing our two Government's and/or COVID are likely to blame. The exhibitor list is a bit smaller than previous years, but still touting more than 1000 exhibitors.

Like most, I'm pretty much fed up with COVID. I'm of the thinking that we've probably all had it at least once and most of us had no idea. If you haven't had it by now, you've probably had it and didn't know it. So in the interest of getting back to a sense of normalcy, I'm going Saturday. If I'm there with 10,000 other people all elbow to elbow, so be it. I'm really not in the market for anything at all. But I'm ready to flip COVID the proverbial middle finger and get on with life.

Anyone else planning to brave the madness?

Covid is not gonna be the killer of this show.

Mother nature just threw her worse possible freezing ice storm towards Harrisburg, arriving by Friday!!

Shutting down everything

Weather is not looking good for Sat. at all!
I haven't been out there in a while, it's not on my must do list but do make it there on occasion, usually during the week.

Ravin said it best when explaining why they were amongst the many not going to the ATA. They said they weren't going because they didn't want to bring the virus back to the plant.
Yep, I'm mildly out out but I'm going to fight the battles I can win.

I’ve always wanted to go definitely can’t this year finishing my second bout with this COVID crap. Don’t know about everyone else but I’m getting really tired of this stuff.
