My uncle called a few weeks ago and said a Tom was breeding Hens right in the middle of the road in front of his house. This would have been the at beginning of March. That's pretty early I think.

When was the latest in the season you've heard one gobble?
Last year in August I was working in the orchard and heard a gobble. It was strange cause after the first week of turkey season they usually go silent here.

Our season opens Sat for Youth Day and Monday for everyone else. We have a new hunter in our group this year and we are excited as ever to get out there and hunt!
Take care and be well everyone
