"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Thankyou for posting this!!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

I was off grid in Canada fishing on June 6 so I had no access to the internet. A couple of years ago I said the same thing. The contribution of the US was enormous in the Normandy invasion but our allies (especially Canada and Great Britain) did everything the US did and we need to recognize their equal contribution. We in the US don't always do that. It was a coordinated effort between great allies with shared sacrifices and triumphs.
