Back when I bought mine, it came with those installed. After about a year or so, one came off. I took the other off and never replaced them. Couldn't tell the difference by listening to the bow. Then Boo made me a custom string with "cat whiskers". Since then I have never looked at them again! :lol:

Installed them and can tell a difference with vibration and very little noise reduction but I really like the less vib..
