So I leave for Whitehorse in just 9 days. Can't wait. I got the duffle bags all packed up and I am ready to go. I clear customs in Vancouver and then have to catch the flight to Whitehorse so I hope the Vancouver airport is not to big.

Hopefully I will get some nice photos of the trip I can share.

Nog,
I'll need your help!
Take lots of pick, I feel like lots of guys will be living vicariously though you pretty soon.

Don, Lot's of anxiety about getting there. It's a long trip from CT with multiple plane changes. CT to Chicago, Chicago to Vancouver. Have to get all my gear off the belt in Vancouver, then go through customs to register my firearm and then get on a domestic Air Canada flight to Whitehorse (all in two hours). Too many opportunities for stuff to go wrong.

Once I get to Whitehorse and have all my gear I will be a happy camper!!

When my grandson (I call him Ork) is at my place, that Mal is in protect mode. She blocks anyone from access, including me. There are threats made if I raise my hand towards Ork. I don’t dare even tap him

Back years ago, I had a German Shepard, if I got on to the kids about something, I'd have to make him go outside first or he'd let me know he wasn't happy with me. :D

You could write a novel about a hunt like this one. We will settle for some good old fireside hunting stories.

Best of luck!!

I have to admit that I was worried for him that he would get hung up in Vancouver....either that he got separated from his gear, or that the airport circus prevented him from making connecting flights.

Things must have worked out for him, or by now he'd be posting in a lathered up rage.
