OT-Broke my Arm...Trad bow season gonna be off to a slow start

Post by nchunterkw »

I wish I had a better story but.....I was hanging curtain rods for my wife and well dang it...the ladder is ALL the way in the garage. And these handy bar stools are right here. Was standing on one hanging the last rod until I wasn't. Broke my right arm down by the wrist. Thankfully it's not displaced and he gave me a short cast, so I'm functional. Hope to be able to hunt with the trad bow in Oct. I could probably shoot it with the cast on, but I don't want to mess it up and end up with surgery. Crossbow should be fine for the opener.

Sorry to hear about your fall( pun intended). That first thought when you figure out your purchase is no more is usually a good one. Hope it heals completely and quickly, Keith.

Awkward positions lead to unsafe conditions!

Wish you a speedy recovery!

That's right! I was wondering if I could switch it around somehow....forgot about this feature. Nice. That'll do quite well.
