She didn't go twenty.....(feet not yards)

Sunday night l went out to shoot the "slow bows"
The vixen 2 and the metal ibex l was shooting up to 40 yards just zinging bolt after bolt in there with no adjustments needed from last season .
Today was Mr ibex's turn to go out and hunt I enjoy rotating my exo and matrix bows.
The landowner wants us to shoot a doe first so this big old girl was a loaner and I prefer to shoot a loaner rather than a mother with visible kidos...its just personal.
She was 39 yards out l wasn't worried about string noise because they are building a big wear house across the road and there is all kinds a racket going on the deer are used to it now.
I did a breath and exhale and squeezed Mr ibex l assume little manco is a boy we gotta ask Anthony about Dat.
Anyway the bolt was there in a flash she jumped and disappeared.
Walking over she was about 10 feet down the hill stone dead with a hit in the 10 ring.
It was a short drag to the truck was perfect.
The swat A-4 passed thru with a luminock and still disappeared into the swamp.
I'm not seeing any evidence of these slower bows having pennitration issues with these slower bows as long a a shoulder isn't involved. This was a full size A4 not a mini .
With the available accuracy of these tack drivers we have that should be a non issue anyway.
Even the vixen had 3 pass-throughs with does and full size A4 s last season.
Now to focus on some bone heads it's going to get hopping soon l hope.
Good luck to all!

My wife sports the SWAT A4 on the pointy end too.

Great Job Joe!!

We all want the quickest kills possible, and you achieved that to the max! When I first started crossbow hunting, I remember reading on this forum that you need the faster bows to shoot expandables. You seem to have ignored that advice.
