Shot a doe this morning.

Post by Riflemanz »

Got to the 15' ladderstand at 7:10a.m. I had a small 6pt buck walk thru at 7:20am. At 7:30am 2 doe come walking right down my runway to within 10yds of my ladder. I shot the lead doe in the spine. She dropped on the spot. The second deer hung around for at least an hour, I could of shot her but decided I only wanted to drag 1 deer out. I saw 3 deer, my brother saw 13 but didn't see the buck he's after. It was a really nice morning here in So Wi but no Rut as of yet. I gave my doe to a fellow deer hunter who is taking care of his 95 yr old mother and can't get out hunting. I have plenty of meat in the freezer!
