Crossbow on ATV

I am interested in how other members carry their crossbow on their ATV. I have a phoenix and so far carrying it on my ATV is just unwieldy and cumbersome. What are you guys using to secure it to the ATV racks. TIA for any info.

I use a Koplan(sp) gun rack

Foam pads made to carry a kayak on a roof, put them on my rear rack and 2 bungee straps.

i use rhino grips attached to rear rack. not really much different than transprting a rifle

With Good straps. Ask the guys from Crossbow Nation Bear Hunt.

According to the old Challenge videos you could just tie a rope to it and drag your crossbow to your stand.

Below is a photo of a unfortunate crossbow hunter who did not secure his crossbow to his ATV.

While waiting for traffic to clear on a major Northern Ontario
Highway , he gunned his ATV to cross, only to feel his crossbow slip and fall in the middle of the highway.

A fast approaching Semi Truck could not avoid running over his expensive xbow .
