As predicted, Ila was waiting not so patiently at the back door yesterday.
Seems she has taken on a bit of a yen for "helping" with the deer butchering process:

I believe she thinks this should be an every day occurrence!
This morning she was again at the back door, and seemed astonished that I did not wander out to hang up another one!

Geeeeze Matt! There isn't much better than a pup or young dog! My boy is 15 months and just crazy fun and loving! He is huge at 80 lbs! Their size just sneaks up on you and well, I miss those smaller days of being a complete pain, especially for the other 2 dogs. Enjoy every single minute!

Ila is 4 months and one week now.
Pushing 40 lbs already.
Absolutely full of piss & vinegar!
Keeps us all on our toes.
And keeps a huge smile on our mugs all of the time.
She is one of the best things that has happened in our lives in a long time!!
