A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

LOL!

Actually I believe she will end up being as tall as Kimmiq, but not as heavy.
Boogs was 75 pounds at this age, topping out at 145.

Have to admit that was a tad steep when we had all three of them!!
Did supplement that with the odd extra deer...

Not so bad now, but the pup is rapidly catching up to Kimmiq's intake volume!! :wtf:

Cheers

I hear that!!

From the back in that pix: Boogs 145 lbs, Asuilu 120 lbs, Kimmiq 100 lbs.

A handful back then alright!
But bears & strangers avoided our place like the plague!!

The difference between a Lab and a malanois when an intruder breaks in.

The lab is happy to see them and will even show them where the goods are for a treat.

The malanois is happy to see them so they have something to chew on!

Lol

LOL! The BoogyMan's favorite target on bears was their testicles.
He really hammered one BIG bruin in the yard that way.
A Buddy who guides for bears (Shockey's partner) saw the bugger the next year, but his client missed three times.
Told me where.
We went in and took a shooter along who dumped him (wanted him gone)

When rolled over to do the skinning, it was obvious he had been mutilated down below.
Shooter asked What the hell do you think happened there?
Reply from my buddy: Boogs.
Story came out.

Next time the shooter was over he spent 1/2 his time covering his own jewels whenever Boogs wandered by...

Cheers
