Safety lever

Post by grizzly72 »

Hi all, The trigger lever on my micro is a bit hard to push off of safety into the fire position.. it’s not smooth like it should be.. gotta really use some force to get it the entire way up.. is it ok to spray some wd 40 or something in there or will it freeze up in cold weather. Supposed to be 28 tomorrow morning.. thanks

What does it feel like to push the safety lever to safe? Have you done anything to the bow recently?

It feels fine going to safe..just a bit stubborn pushing up to get to fire position.. I sprayed some rem oil in there top and bottom of the lever and worked it back and forth about 50 times and it seems fine now.

There's a little spring and ball with detent in there. Was probably a little gummy and you did the right thing cleaning with some wd40.
