First day of bear today it was 19 degrees in the Poconos this morning Joe the cold weather whimp did really good stuffing the lacrosse burly boots with 2 chemical warmers per boot had the fleece hood on that holds chemical warmers on the head and off course in the gloves.
I lasted till 11 am that was my goal saw a small one and a shooter doing the 10 second quarter mile like a dragster and a few deer .
All in all it was great to be out very little hunting pressure where we were.
I took my old trusted summit viper out of mothballs for the event it was a little awkward ...I'm not the tree climbing squirrel of yester year but l made it up and the darn thing was pretty comfortable for the 5 hour stay too. All in all a good day to be out of my town.

Trigger tecs,leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

It's little easier to Summit when you work out your abs 3x week for 3 weeks before climbing :mrgreen:
