Lots of deer moving this morning!

Post by Riflemanz »

It’s gun season here in Wi so I headed out this morning about 2 hours late getting to the tree with my 355. I’m 20’ up and have a camera on the trail coming to my stand about 80 yds away. I get a text that something just walked by my cam so I get ready and I can hear the deer crunching in the snow as they get closer. It’s a big doe followed by a smaller one.No buck. I let the lead doe get to about 7 yds and then she stopped, I put the crosshairs on her neck and fired a rocky mt 3 blade thru her. She collapsed and then ran 10 yds and down. I used a sled to get her out with the help of my buddy. He was up last weekend and didn’t see a deer gun hunting. I gave him the deer . I don’t need any more meat. While I’m dragging her out I’m getting texts that something just walked by my camera. Lots of deer moving today.
