Very cool! Can't wait to hear what you think of them. Do not shoot the same spot!!
Well, the first impression is very good!
In the finishes you can see the "fine" work that norm has done.
As soon as I shoot them I will tell you my impressions, but I already sense them and I think I know what the result will be... :eusa-dance:

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words...
First round of shots after calibrating the scope, at 20 yards +-.
Sorry for the photo, I had the sun on face.

Very Happy!!

I think you might need a better target because damage to the fleetching is very possible.
At least move back to 30 y.

From now on I will practice only with the sevr, they stop better in the rags parapet behind the target.

I still don't feel capable of shooting at 30y.

Yesterday I finished work early and I spent an hour practicing before it got dark.
This was my last group (and my best) from 30 yards.

Surprised the truth, you have to have a little more pulse and sensitivity but it is not as complicated as I thought, with these arrows.

The bad thing is that with 580g of arrow, it makes a lot of arc and the trajectory is very curved, at the slightest movement you deflect the shot much more than with a flatter arrow trajectory.

There are many theories for sighting in and they all work.
My suggestion, for what it's worth, is to use a nice padded rest, that part is important. A rigid rest doesn't work well for xbows as they move so much.

Get comfortable with what the bow does, get it sighted to your preference. It's very important to know how your equipment wants to operate with you out of the equation as much as possible. This becomes easier as you get more experienced and you know what to expect

Then from there, after you have eliminated the bows actions form the equation, take the rest away and practice off hand, or however you plan to hunt

Wait. Pablo, are each of those arrows inside the white dot you shot at? Because if so, that's 4 dead hogs.

I didn't look hard enought the first time

I was wondering the same as Jansey, are you shooting the round spray painted white area?
If so, that is about a 1 inch 4 shot group at 30 yards.

Yes!! I shoot the circles, of course.
They are approx. 1 1/2 - 2 inches in diameter I believe. (the width of the fletching of the arrows)

I use a "hand made" V-shaped wooden stick for support, for now I can't spend more money without my wife looking at me badly...

Later I plan to buy a Rinehart and prepare a shooting and calibration table. I recently learned to weld with an electrode and I have plenty of iron and wood on the farm.

You ask this crazy Texan and I'll say "It will Keel" (stolen without permission from Doug Marciada!)
I kinda thought Pablo was shooting at the painted patterns on the target.

My only question is this...

Is this grouping with field points or the broadheads you intend to hunt with?
If it's NOT with the broadheads, then try them with, and see what they do!!

And Pablo, if you stated it was with the heads somewhere else in this feed, I apologize. :eusa-doh:

AJ, you don't have to apologize to me for anything, you don't, ever. :D

I'll try, thanks for the advice.
I took it for granted that if the groupings were good at 20yds, they would be good at 30yds as well.

Nothing should be taken for granted in this, I always stumble upon the same stone in life... It is said that humans are intelligent but sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and... :eusa-whistle:

The last test was all shots with the Robusto broadheads.
