Black Eagle and Gold Tip weights: Differences?

Post by DuckHunt »

I've got miscellaneous screw in weights that I think are from GoldTip that use the allen head to install. I see that Black Eagle has something similar. Do they use the same tool to install (an allen head)? And are the weights compatible with the inserts from the other company? I would assume so since both appear to screw into the back of the insert.

I'd like to add some GoldTip weights to the back of some Black Eagle inserts. Will it work?

Should not be an issue compatibility wise.
Black Eagle and GT likely source from the same supplier.

The GT weights thread into the backside of the front insert as does the BEA weights. So both use the same thread going into the front insert. I don't know if the GTs are stackable but if they are, they are threaded the same as the backside of the front insert. So if the GTs are stackable, the answer is yes.
