My daughter just got her new yellow lab today. :)
Good thing she has me as a dog trainer! Lol

Puppies are irresistible, but far from trouble free. I love dogs and have always had one or two, but the first year of a puppy's life is challenging for it's owners. Potty training, chewed up table legs, chewed up window sills, holes dug in the yard etc., can (and will) occur with active breeds like Labs.

They're worth the trouble, but you have to be ready for some difficulty.

That's already a big challenge...
I have educated many dogs and with some breeds better than with others, but the more wild they are... It seems that their rebelliousness is linked to their level of intelligence.
Of course, try to guide a boy today on the right path, with trash TV and others... That is a "fun" challenge. :mrgreen:
