I bleed every single salmon I catch, whether commercial or for myself.
Also do the same with Halibut (cut the tail off) and Rockfish.

Definitely improves both flavour and the length they can remain frozen.

I bleed out every fish I catch. I find it creates a whiter flesh and there’s slightly less mess when cleaning them.
