I used them for a while, shot great, stayed closed from many bows. Search nack on my posts, I reviewed them from the ATA.

Made a terrible shot on a buck one time and Im confident that huge head saved the hunt and the deer was recovered as everything inside was liquified.

Only downside is that the blades folded back and damaged the carbon on the arrow.

I have used the xact broadheads with great results. I shot a hog once and it blew through the front shoulder and lodged it the opposite shoulder. I have since switched to the trailblazers only for the increased cutting width. Haven't killed anything with it yet but I don't foresee any problems. Seem well made and durable. Plus, they were cheaper than a lot of others out there.

I use them and my son does also.. We love them!! They really put a giant hole in a deer.. I JB weld the blades shut on one to use as a practice head but after shooting them for awhile I just put them on and shoot deer now.. somebody in here told me to JB weld the blades shut as a practice head..

JB Weld your own practice head makes sense.

If you soak the head first in acetone and dry well one can expect a better bond.

Factory oils are present which need to be removed.

Lastly, use a toothpick to spread JB into crucial corners and edges.
